This range of black clothes are re-made from the world’s most popular clothing item – jeans.
I launched a media campaign in Tallin asking Estonian citizens to bring me their tired old jeans. I then cut these up into patchwork squares, adding in other recycled trouser fabrics, plus velvet, to re-make them into beautiful new clothes.
Samples of fall/winter 2009 and spring/summer 2010 collection were co-financed by European Regional Development Fund.
