The newest innovative collection, made in Bangladesh, demonstrates how upcycling industrial waste can offer a solution for radical reduction of textile waste in mass-production. 

Till now, Beximco, the biggest fabric and garment producer in Bangladesh did not have a good solution for the 10-30% of fabrics wasted while producing 56 million garments per year. 

Our case studies and calculations show that upcycling has the potential to reduce ~50-65% of the production waste.

Our calculations also show that on average each upcycled garment uses  6,2 kWh / 89% less electricity and 3600 liters / 85% less water and creates 1580 g / 84% less CO2 emission per one garment compared to usual mass-produced item.
